What a Wells Fargo statement looks like
Wells Fargo prints its transaction table with these columns. We read every row exactly as it appears and return clean, normalized data.
- Dates are printed as M/D without a year or leading zero (e.g. 2/8) — the statement period in the page header carries the year
- No true per-row balance — the Ending daily balance column is filled only on the last transaction of each day and stays blank on every other row.
- Deposits and withdrawals sit in two separate unsigned columns — personal statements label them Deposits/Additions and Withdrawals/Subtractions, business statements Deposits/Credits and Withdrawals/Debits, with a Check Number column on checking. Wells Fargo's verbose descriptions wrap across printed lines mid-table; we reassemble them and merge the two columns into one signed amount.
