What a USAA statement looks like
USAA prints its transaction table with these columns. We read every row exactly as it appears and return clean, normalized data.
- Dates are printed as MM/DD without a year (09/15) — the year lives in the Statement Period, which runs mid-month to mid-month rather than by calendar month
- A running Balance on every row, opening with a Beginning Balance row and closing with an Ending Balance row. The unused Debits or Credits cell holds a literal 0 rather than staying blank.
- Descriptions wrap to two or three lines — card purchases carry date and category codes, transfers add a CONF# line, and Zelle arrives as "USAA CREDIT". Parts of the text layer use custom font encoding that turns copy-paste into (cid:12)(cid:7) garbage, and many saved copies are rescans. We read the pages visually, so none of that matters.

- 2 Open "View My Documents" on the account page
- 3 Pick the statement — up to seven years are available
- 4 Select "View" or "Download PDF"
Mobile app
- 1 Open the USAA Mobile App and log on
- 2 Go to your account's documents
- 3 Select the statement
- 4 Choose "File" to save the PDF
USAA keeps seven years of statements in My Documents — one of the longest archives of any US bank. Documents carry an "Available Through" date and expire after it; retrieving expired ones means a research request at 877-632-3002 and possibly a fee, so download what you might need while it's self-serve.
