What a Monzo statement looks like
Monzo prints its transaction table with these columns. We read every row exactly as it appears and return clean, normalized data.
- Dates are printed as DD/MM/YYYY with the year on every row (e.g. 03/02/2026)
- Every row carries a running balance. Monzo prints one signed amount column instead of the separate paid-in and paid-out columns most UK banks use.
- Monzo statements are generated on demand for any date range, and pot transfers appear as regular rows on personal statements. We split the signed amount into money in and money out, keep the running balance, and merchant names with emoji don't break the rows.

How to download your Monzo statement

Online banking
- 1 Monzo is app-first — personal and joint statements are downloaded in the app (steps on the right)
- 2 For business accounts, log in at business.monzo.com
- 3 Select "Export statement" on the home screen
- 4 Choose your date range and pick PDF as the format
Mobile app
- 1 Tap "Home" in the Monzo app's menu bar
- 2 Tap the three dots underneath your card
- 3 Tap "Bank statements"
- 4 Choose the date range you'd like and pick PDF as the format
- 5 For a savings Pot, open the Pot and tap "Pot documents", then "Pot statement"
Statements can be generated back to the day you opened your account. If you close your account, Monzo emails you a password-protected statement of your full history — and that PDF converts here too.
