What a Truist statement looks like

Truist prints its transaction table with these columns. We read every row exactly as it appears and return clean, normalized data.

  • Dates are printed as MM/DD without a year (e.g. 11/04) — the year appears only in the header and the summary's "as of" dates
  • No balance column at all. The Account summary does the math instead: previous balance, minus checks, minus other withdrawals, plus deposits, equals your new balance.
  • Truist splits activity into three sections — Checks, "Other withdrawals, debits and service charges", and "Deposits, credits and interest" — with unsigned amounts, so the section decides the sign. Long ACH descriptions wrap to a second line, some end in a stray hyphen, and the PDF text layer glues words together ("Totalchecks"). We read the pages visually, sign by section, merge the wraps, and rebuild a running balance from the Account summary.

Why convert your Truist statement here

Truist statements have their own quirks. We built our converter for them.

Three sections, one signed table

Checks, withdrawals, and deposits print as separate sections with unsigned amounts. We merge them into one chronological table and sign every figure by its section.

Reads what copy-paste can't

Truist's statement system produces PDFs whose text layer runs words together — "Accountsummary", "Totalchecks". We read the pages visually, so it doesn't matter.

18 months goes quickly

Truist's online archive is roughly a year and a half — then it's a phone call. Convert and keep your statements now; the IRS can ask years later.

Nothing to lose

If a conversion fails, your credits are refunded automatically — and your first 10 pages are free.

How to download your Truist statement

You need the PDF first. Here is where Truist keeps it.

Online banking

  2. 2 Select your account
  3. 3 Open the account's statements and documents area
  4. 4 Pick the statement period and download the PDF

Mobile app

  1. 1 Open the Truist app and sign in
  2. 2 Select "More" at the bottom, then the "Documents" tab
  3. 3 Select "Accounts" and choose your account

Truist keeps roughly 18 months of statements and account history online — one of the shortest windows of any major US bank. Older statements mean a phone request, so download your PDFs early.

What customers say

"Copy-pasting from Truist PDFs gave me words mashed together and totals with no spaces. This read the statement like a human would, and the columns came out clean."

Rachel Odom

"Unsigned amounts across three different sections meant my totals never matched the summary. One signed timeline fixed a month of confusion in minutes."

Kevin Duarte

"I still had SunTrust-era statements sitting next to new Truist ones. Both converted into the same clean spreadsheet without any setup."

Janet McAllister
