Convert RBC Statements to Excel & CSV
Upload a RBC PDF statement and get every transaction back in clean, ready-to-use columns. $0.15 per page, no subscription.
What a RBC statement looks like
RBC prints its transaction table with these columns. We read every row exactly as it appears and return clean, normalized data.
- Dates are printed as D MMM without a year (e.g. 15 Mar) — printed only on the first transaction of each day, with the year carried by the statement period line
- A Balance ($) column printed only on the last transaction of each day — rows in between leave the cell blank.
- Amounts are unsigned — the column they sit in decides the sign — and interest rows under a dollar drop the leading zero ("Interest paid .15"). We sign every figure, fill dates and balances down to every row, and exclude the Opening balance line so your totals stay clean.
Why convert your RBC statement here
RBC statements have their own quirks. We built our converter for them.
Two columns become signed amounts
RBC splits unsigned figures across Withdrawals ($) and Deposits ($). We read the column, apply the sign, and hand you one amount column that sums correctly.
Dates and balances filled down
RBC prints the date only on a day's first transaction and the balance only on its last. Every extracted row gets its full date and running balance.
Seven years of PDFs, unlocked
RBC's CSV download reaches back only a few months, but Online Banking archives seven years of PDF statements. Convert any of them — CRA reviews reach back six.
Nothing to lose
If a conversion fails, your credits are refunded automatically — and your first 10 pages are free.
How to download your RBC statement
You need the PDF first. Here is where RBC keeps it.
Online banking
- 1 Log in to RBC Online Banking
- 2 From the Accounts Summary page, select "Statements/Documents" at the top right
- 3 On the Account Documents page, choose your account
- 4 Pick the statement period from the dropdown, then view and download the PDF
Mobile app
- 1 Open the RBC Mobile app and tap "More" (iOS) or "Menu" (Android)
- 2 Under Services, select "Statements"
- 3 Choose your account — the six most recent statements are listed, with a dropdown for older ones
- 4 Open the statement and save the PDF to your device
Online Banking archives up to 7 years of eStatements, cheque images included. RBC's own CSV download only covers recent account activity — a few months at most — so older periods exist only as PDF statements.

What customers say
"The CRA asked for six years of records for my review. RBC's download only went back a few months, but the eStatement archive had all seven years of PDFs — I converted them in one evening."
Marie Tremblay
"RBC only prints the balance on the last transaction of the day, so my reconciliation sheet was full of blanks. Getting a real balance on every row fixed it instantly."
Jason Whitfield
"Our company Visa has three cards on one statement, each in its own section with reference numbers under every line. This was the first tool that gave me one clean table with the cards still labeled."
