What a Chime statement looks like

Chime prints its transaction table with these columns. We read every row exactly as it appears and return clean, normalized data.

  • Dates are printed as MM/DD/YYYY, with the leading zero on the month sometimes dropped (6/02/2025)
  • No running balance on the rows. Each statement section shows a beginning and an ending balance, and every transaction prints as one signed amount (debits like -$54.12). We rebuild the balance row by row and check it against the printed ending balance.
  • Chime is a fintech, not a bank — accounts sit with The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A., and that name appears on the statement. The PDF's text layer glues fields together (the header extracts as "DATEDESCRIPTIONTYPEAMOUNT", and a type like "Purchase" runs straight into "-$10.99"). We read the pages visually, so glued text and wrapped descriptions still come out as clean columns.

Why convert your Chime statement here

Chime statements have their own quirks. We built our converter for them.

The export button Chime doesn't have

There's no CSV or Excel download anywhere in Chime — statements only come as PDFs. Upload one here and get back the spreadsheet the app never offered.

Reads what copy-paste can't

Chime PDFs have a glued text layer — copy a row and you get "Purchase-$10.99" run together. We read each page visually, so every field lands in its own column.

Round Ups and transfers, kept apart

Every line keeps its Type — Purchase, Deposit, Transfer, Round Up Transfer, Fee — so internal moves to your Chime Savings Account are easy to filter from real spending.

Nothing to lose

If a conversion fails, your credits are refunded automatically — and your first 10 pages are free.

How to download your Chime statement

You need the PDF first. Here is where Chime keeps it.

Online banking

  1. 1 Sign in at chime.com
  2. 2 Open your Profile and select "Documents"
  3. 3 Under "Account Statements", choose the account and the month
  4. 4 Select the statement to download the PDF

Mobile app

  1. 1 Open the Chime app and tap your Profile
  2. 2 Tap "Documents", then "Account statements"
  3. 3 Choose the account and the month
  4. 4 Tap the export icon in the top right to save the PDF

Chime doesn't publish an official archive window — independent guides consistently report about 18 months of statements online, and Chime never mails paper statements. There's no CSV export in the app either, so the PDF is your only record: download your statements early.

What customers say

"Chime has no export button, so every tax season I typed my transactions into a spreadsheet by hand. Now I upload twelve PDFs and I'm done in minutes."

Marcus Bell

"I drive for two delivery apps and my accountant wanted my Chime deposits as a spreadsheet. Copy-paste came out glued together — this got every line and sign right."

Tanya Reyes

"Round Ups and savings transfers were mixed into my spending when I tried other tools. Keeping the Type column means I can filter internal moves out in one click."
